Birthdays and Bucket Lists

Sometimes the events in our lives completely change our perceptions of what’s important. Suddenly, every birthday really becomes another year to celebrate. Every holiday becomes an opportunity to experience and appreciate another travel destination we’ve always dreamed of visiting.

Queso Ibérico de la Cerda, the Iberian Pig Cheese from Ronda

High in the mountains of Andalucía is the pretty little town of Ronda, and this morning with the help of our guide at La Casa del Queso we will be exploring one of its traditional although not particularly well-known products, Iberian Pig Cheese. Maybe even a sample if we are lucky!

Holiday photos from when we stayed at the Hotel Belvedere in Salou for a week at the start of June 2004. It’s a large hotel just off the Placa Europa, which is about a ten minute walk from the beach and Salou centre.
