All holidays come to an end, and today is our last chance to enjoy what must be the most vibrant and exciting place on the planet, Hong Kong. It’s going to feel an odd sort of a day…

We have to check out of the hotel this morning, but we will be leaving our luggage there until the evening because we have a night time flight back to the UK. So one last day exploring!

I'll miss the "Ding Ding" trams - they're great fun to travel on!

It’s also our last chance to travel on some of Hong Kong’s iconic transport – the “Ding Ding” trams we’ve made so  much use of during our fortnight, and the Star Ferry across the harbour from Central to Kowloon.

And of course the excellent MTR system, out to Mong Kok where we can wander through the markets again, spending the last of our money on souvenirs.

Later on, we can pick up the Airport Express courtesy bus from the hotel to Hong Kong station, to begin our long journey home. I ❤ HK!
