A few days away at Robin Hood’s Bay near Whitby, and within walking distance of the old smuggler’s village at the bottom of a steep hill.
By turning our caravan on its pitch, we were able to enjoy a stunning sea view out over the bay.
The village itself is quaint and touristy, with a handful of pubs restaurants and gift shops at the bottom of a steep hill down to the sea.
We managed a short walk of around 3-4 miles, through country lanes to the ‘Boggle Hole’ where Mill Beck emerges to meet the sea, then back over the coastal path to Robin Hood’s Bay.
What could be better than Fish & Chips from a seaside cafe with views like this?
